Surgem esboços da nova geração do VW Passat

Sedã será revelado no último trimestre deste ano


As primeiras imagens da nova geração do Volkswagen Passat chegaram à Internet nesta quarta-feira (21) por meio dos sites Auto Bild e Auto Motor und Sport. Na verdade, são os esboços do sedã reformulado, que será lançado pela montadora alemã no último trimestre deste ano.

Pelo que é possível verificar nos esquetes, o Passat terá um apelo muito mais esportivo em termos de design do que o atual, com um perfil similar ao de um coupé de quatro portas. Também haverá modificações na grade frontal, nos faróis, nos para-lamas e ponteira dupla de escapamento.

Quanto à motorização, o sedã deverá ser equipado com o bloco 2.0 TDI, entregando 237 cavalos de potência, atrelado a um câmbio DSG de sete velocidades, sendo dotado de sistema de tração integral. A média de consumo de combustível é estimada em 20 km/l. Uma variante híbrida, mesclando motor 1.4 TSI e motor elétrico, poderá oferecer 201 cv.

Mesmo sem imagens do interior do veículo, informações preliminares apontam para a introdução de um sistema multimídia compatível com diversos smartphones e tablets, além de um display de 12,3 polegadas como painel de instrumentos.
